There There Projects

Between 2011-2019, Dana was part of There There, a 100% Eastern European performance company co-founded in London with Bojana Janković. Their concerns revolved around reclaiming Eastern European identity in the West, enabling conversation between minority groups, and giving voice to marginalised communities.


Their work spun performances, installations, interventions, audience development, and research, and was developed and presented at Tate Modern, Museum of London, National Maritime Museum, SPILL, Experimentica, Centre for Art on Migration Politics (Denmark), and Tranzit (Romania). Throughout their practice, amongst others the company received support from The Arts Council, British Council, Counterpoints Arts, Rich Mix, Motiroti, and Romanian Cultural Centre. There There collaborated with social researchers (Mapping Immigration Controversy) and advocacy organisations (Migrant Voice), and publications include Kajet Journal (Vol 1 and 3) and Migrant/Expat.
